At RockPool Collective, we offer three subscription levels of the Practical Support Plan — bronze, silver, and gold — with scheduled weekly visits designed to help maintain independence at home.

How does the Practical Support membership work?
A Practical Support Membership is a monthly subscription service. We will set a schedule based on your needs, and pair you with a RockPool Rep who has the right skills for the job.

Our RockPool reps come from diverse backgrounds, including qualified nurses, cleaners, chefs, artists, and more. Whether you need assistance with meal prep, spring cleaning, an extra hand with your crafts, or simply someone to help make getting out and about less stressful, we have the right person to meet your needs.
What is the cost of a Practical Support membership?
We have a tiered membership model, with rates dependant on how many hours you need per month.
Bronze Subscription
$50 per hour
1-5 hours of support per month
Our Bronze membership plan, is perfect for someone who might need one hour a week of support at home. This plan provides flexibility and affordability for those who require minimal but regular assistance.
As your needs change, you can easily upgrade to Silver or Gold memberships for more comprehensive support.

$45 per hour
5-20 hours of support per month
Our Silver membership plan is ideal for people who require more frequent support. This could include:
People needing regular assistance with daily tasks
Families needing respite from caring for a family member
People who have a time-bound project that they need support to complete (de-cluttering, painting, spring cleaning)
People who require consistent support throughout the week
The Silver plan offers a balance between comprehensive support and cost-effectiveness, providing 5-20 hours of assistance per month at a reduced hourly rate.
Gold Subscription
$40 per hour
20+ hours of support per month
Our Gold membership plan is designed for individuals who require more extensive and regular support. This plan is particularly suitable for:
People who need daily assistance with various tasks
Busy retirees who require consistent help with household management and personal assistance
Those with high-support needs due to age related disabilities or a chronic illnesses
The Gold plan offers the most comprehensive support at our lowest hourly rate, providing 20+ hours of assistance per month. This plan ensures consistent, reliable, and cost-effective support for those with ongoing and substantial needs.
Frequently asked questions

RockPool does not provide medical aged care support such as bathing, feeding, assistance with toileting, medicaton management or wound care.
We will work with your preferred provider to support your needs.

Our team offer assistance with non-medical tasks, akin to the type of support that extended family provide.
Support could involve light cleaning, gardening, meal prep, rides and errands, admin support or general companionship.

Our service does not involve medical tasks that would otherwise be performed by a trained care professional so our team members do not administer medication, conduct lifting, showering or other personal care activities, take medical readings or provide medical recommendations.
Requirement to politely decline out of scope activity is included in our training and contract.
By removing the medical aspect of home support we reduce risk of accidental injuries or flawed medical care.

We follow the industry gold standard to ensure safety and peace of mind.
Our rigorous vetting process involves in-person interviews, police checks and reference checks. We onboard all team members with training (including basic first aid, dementia friends, compliance acknowlegments) and offer trial visits.

We manage performance on an ongoing basis via community reviews. We also offer a formal complaints and resolution process.

No! Members are not responsible for child-minding when opting in for a family-friendly visit.
Our team are always expected to supervise their own children at all times during a visit.
